A belt is the only award a winner wears. It gets held over a head, photographed a thousand times and defended in public, so it is built like a piece of luggage rather than a piece of jewellery.

Die-struck
What we do
A steel die is cut from your artwork and the blank is struck under pressure. The metal moves rather than being poured, so detail stays crisp and the piece rings when you tap it.

one colour at a time.
Soft enamel is flooded into the recessed areas and cured, so the raised metal stays proud and you can read the design with your thumb. It is what most finish-line medals use and it is included in the prices above.
Hard enamel is filled higher, then ground back and polished until the colour and the metal sit in one flat plane, like a lapel pin. It costs 35p a piece more and adds about three days, and it is worth it on anything small enough to be looked at closely.

Worth saying
On perpetual trophies.
If you run an annual competition, buy one good trophy rather than twenty poor ones. A bronze cup on an oak base costs about the same as five seasons of resin, and by year six it looks like your club has been there forever.
We store, clean and re-engrave perpetuals for member clubs at no charge. Nine trophies in our safe have been coming back to us since 2011.
